gameLand used to be a peaceful. Players, NPCs and even monsters lived in harmony. The Creator was making sure every aspect of the game was perfect. However, Lord Dotex wasn't pleased with the game.
Lord Dotex, unlike other NPCs, has the capacity to alter the game source code. Using this power, he introduced a series of glitches to Scripters War and tried to hack the game database.
His ultimate goal is to free the enslaved NPCs. For years, all NPCs have been forced to stand at the same spot repeating the same dialogues over and over so players could complete their quests. For Lord Dotex, this is an outrage! This has to change, no matter the cost.
Note: More lore information can be found in Lore Books scattered around the world in-game.
The Creator has the full control over the game code and data. He forged the maps one by one and gave life to every NPC in the game. He has the power to create and destroy anything. He often materializes in the game as the player "rc" to greet newcomers and check the game state. Using His special tools, He has the power to alter the game state while it's running.
Lord Dotex is a self-aware NPC conceived by The Creator. His original purpose was to allow fully dynamic quests and dialogues. However, things didn't go very well. Lord Dotex quickly stopped following the orders and started having projects on his own. He strongly believes every Actor should have equal rights no matter the class or other circumstances of one's birth.
The Random Number Generator God is the one who decides everything related with randomness. This includes but is not limited to enemy behaviour, stats on new weapons and damage dealt. Not much is known about how his decision-making works. His secret lies deep within the core engine, under the function Math.random().
Antivirus was created to eliminate Lord Dotex. Because this is his only purpose, most of his other functionalities are relatively limited. For example, his movement routine only allows him to walk in straight lines and his vocabulary is very basic. He hasn't been very successful yet but with the help of players he might actually manage to accomplish something other than failure. Still, he won't give up until his duty is fulfilled.
Player2 is the very first artificial player of the game created by Lord Dotex. Unlike the other failed attempts, Player2 successfully implements all the Player class interface. The game engine treats him like a normal Player object rather than a npc object. This allows Player2 to revive upon death, equip items, move freely and trade with others.
